Software readout

Electronic diagnosis.

Do you want to have the software of your Massey Ferguson read out for an expert diagnosis? We have all the necessary equipment and experts. We have Wintest, EDT, WinEEM4 and Techconnect diagnostic. A modern tractor has an average of 15 different computers that all communicate with each other via the tractor's CAN network.

Do you suspect that something is not quite right with your MF or is there a warning light on the dashboard? Then it's a good idea to drop by or contact us.

A light is on for a reason and warns you of something. Then it seems logical that you have something done about it, but it happens that you drive on too long and therefore get into big trouble with the associated costs. If you really want to know what is wrong, have a diagnosis made by reading the software.

Engine management system

Today's engine is controlled by the engine management system. This system regulates, among other things, the entire combustion process and thus also the power and torque of your MF. The system does this by constantly receiving all kinds of information from countless sensors that are everywhere in the tractor. From the engine block to the exhaust. Using this information, the engine management system's software analyses which parts need to be controlled more or less, or not at all. And with today's technology, this is, of course, extremely fast. In order to do this well and quickly, the system needs all kinds of settings so that it 'knows' what it can and cannot do at certain times.

Something can always go wrong

No system is or remains faultless. At some point, errors may occur in the software, causing the engine to run irregularly or to accelerate badly, for example. But when this happens to you, it is almost impossible to determine where the fault lies, because there are so many electronics in the tractor, that it could be anything.
It is true that the system can recognise many faults and will indicate them to you by means of a warning light. But often enough it is something the system cannot handle.

A complete diagnosis with special equipment can do that. This equipment reads all available information from the system including all sensor data. Our specialists can interpret this data correctly and then make a diagnosis. Sometimes it is sufficient to change a few settings, but a certain sensor may also have to be replaced. In short, a diagnosis can lead to results and solutions faster than a physical check of the tractor by a mechanic.
